Kobal Orthodontics Team

Our staff is qualified and experienced. Each of our staff members regularly attends continuing education seminars to keep their training and skills as up-to-date and as exceptional as our patients and parents have come to expect. Your health and well-being are our greatest concerns.

Dr. Kobal Dr. Kobal is a resident of Thousand Oaks. He and his wife have raised four sons. He enjoys fishing, hiking, and skiing (snow and water) and is active in community affairs. Favorite hobbies include woodworking, bonsai trees, water gardening, geocaching, and computers. • Dr. Kobal completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his doctorate degree in Dentistry from the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center, and finished specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Southern California. • Dr. Kobal is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (The only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists) and is a Member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Angle Society of Orthodontists. He has contributed to dental education as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Undergraduate Orthodontic Department at the USC School of Dentistry and has been serving orthodontic patients in the Conejo Valley for over 30 years.

Chris Chris is our accounts and appointments manager. She has been on our staff for more than five years and is a great asset to our team. • Chris lives in Moorpark with her husband and two children. She enjoys shopping, keeping fit, and warm weather. Kim has been assisting Dr. Kobal and our patients for over twenty years. She lives in Thousand Oaks and enjoys sports, water skiing, and being involved with her children's school and extracurricular activities. • Kim is very capable and compassionate in her chairside duties and has an excellent awareness of the special needs of patients. She also aids the team by monitoring the new patient recall program and ordering many of the office supplies. She also manages our digital photographic and study model files. Sally has a total of sixteen years tenure on our staff. She and her husband live in Agoura Hills and have two grown children. She likes hiking, working in her garden, exercising at the gym, and walking her dog. • Sally is a very competent clinical assistant and relates well with patients of all ages. She helps keeping the treatment schedule flowing smoothly and on-time. Sally oversees the toothbrushing program and assists wherever else she sees a need. Kim
